Hi everyone, this is Taka!
We're adding notebooks to Komorebi for the first time. These are Nishijin Silk Homeicho Notebooks from Konkan Shoten, a Kyoto weaving studio that has been making silk fabric since 1751. 270 years of craft in every cover.
The silk is 100% handwoven Nishijin. What makes it unique is that the color shifts depending on the angle of light. The Oni Kiri pattern moves between blue and copper tones. Kiri Take Ho-o shifts from deep burgundy to turquoise. Each notebook has a different pair of colors.
We have four patterns: Kiri Take Ho-o, Oni Kiri, Yusoku Hanabishi, and Ko Aoi Gold. All available in A5 and A6.
Inside is 96 pages of Rough Cream Kohaku N paper by Nippon Paper. Fountain-pen-friendly with minimal bleed-through.
If you have one of Yurie's Nishijin Silk Pen Cases, this might look familiar. Konkan Shoten makes that fabric too.
Hope you enjoy it! Warmly, Taka
